Walking With Milk

What can walking together with milk teach us about strength, vulnerability and love?

Five women performance artists from different cultures will walk through Basantapur Durbar Square carrying bowls of milk. They will form a wall of women and slowly progress forward through the ancient, bustling cityscape with determined strength taking care not to spill the milk. They will use their combined knowledge and respect for each other to silently navigate any obstacles or threats.

Together they become simultaneously strong and vulnerable through their decision to care for the milk.

We invite you to join the performance and walk with them.

Hosted by: Kathmandu Triennale in collaboration with NexUs Culture Nepal and Lasanaa.
